After breakfast proceed on an excursion to Bylacuppe (60 kms) - the second largest Tibetan settlement in the world outside Tibet and Namdroling Monastery (Golden Temple) - located at 4th camps and with around 3,000 monks is the largest Nyingma monastery outside of Tibet. Continue your visit to Dubare Elephant Camp (26 kms) - is the best place to get up and close with elephants. The camp is essentially an elephant training camp which is operated by the government.
